Ryan Dyson
Driver / Team Owner / Marketing
Since 2018, Ryan has been the driver for JRD Motorsports and is also co-founder and owner of the team with brother Jamie. Ryan also works to market the team and create all graphics, videos, social content etc.
Jamie Dyson
Team Owner / Spotter
Jamie is a co-founder and owner of JRD Motorsports alongside younger brother Ryan. Jamie works with the daily operations of the team including partnerships and also is also the spotter for Ryan.
Mike
Mechanic
Mike brings many strengths to the race team, including a wealth of mechanical knowledge and specializes in helping in that area of the team. Able to work with the engine, transmission and many of the moving parts of the race car, Mike plays a vital role.
Dennis
Crew
Dennis, uncle to Ryan and Jamie, has had several roles over the years but has now found his place as at-track assistant. Dennis ensures the team is fed, tools are where they need to be and the driver is looked after and bucled in safely.
Gerry
Crew
Gerry comes to us as a long-time friend of Chris Dyson (father) - 35+ years. He is a car buff and immediately bonded with the team. Gerry selflessly gives the team an incredible amount of support throughout the year.
Rob
Crew
Rob is the silent one on the team, but regularly brings great wisdom to problem solving and is always willing to make the trip to the race shop whenever needed. Rob connected to the team through Ryan and Jamie's dad, who had taught hockey goaltending to his daughter for many years.
Courtney
Crew
Wife of Ryan, Courtney plays a vital role in making sure the team is looked after before and at the track as well as filming when needed, and of course, putting up with the late nights and early mornings!
Chris
Crew
Father to Ryan and Jamie, Chris helps wherever he can whether that be running parts, delivering to the shop, or being there when things go wrong! Chris also offers his knowledge in apparel and merch through his many years in the industry.
Jay
Crew
New to the team for 2022, Jay quickly proved to be an essential part of the team with his auto detailing skills and general mechanical knowledge. When you see the car sparkle, it is the work of Jay! Jay also works on the car assisting with tire duties and running the pit gun.
Aiden
Crew
New to the team in 2022, Aiden has fit right in and is always right there to give a helping hand whenever he can. Aiden has assumed the role of filming and has hit the ground running with the role, providing Ryan awesome footage to edit.
Frank
Crew
Frank joined the team late in the 2022 race season after cheering for the team from the stands for several seasons. Frank is extremely dedicated and has continued to expand his role, now part of the tire team.
Curtis
Crew
Curtis joined the team for the 2023 season and brings lots of racing knowledge with him, assisting with tires and general maintenance in the shop.
Zoey
Shop Dog
The official shop dog of JRD Motorsports, Zoey has been a critical part of the race team since 2021 and is always looking for pets and treats in the race shop!
